Laurels Function Room

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. Bookings are considered tentative until receipt of the required deposit and Function Booking Form.  Tentative bookings may be re-allocated without notice or liability and shall lapse after 14 days of original verbal reservation. 
  2. A deposit of the cost of room hire is required withing 14 days of reservation.
  3. Full payment of function is required on day of function or within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
  4. A letter of confirmation will be forwarded by the Sale Turf Club upon receipt of the deposit and completed Function Booking Form.
  5. A Bond may be required upon the discreption of the Club.  This bond will be refunded within three days of the event, if the venue if left in the original condition it was hired in.  Organisers are financially responsible for any damage sustained to the Sale Turf Club by the organisers, organisers guests, invitees or other person attending the function.
  6. All Catering at the Laurels Function Centre is under exclusive rights of Duart Homestead.
  7. In line with Responsible Service of Alcohol best practice, Sale Turf Club reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is considered intoxicated.  Clients are instructed that alcoholic beverages are not to be served to guests under the age of 18 years, or to guests in a state of intoxication.  If a person is in breach of the liquor licensing laws they may be removed from the facility.
  8. The Management of the Sale Turf Club reserved the right to exclude or eject any any all objectionable persons from the Function Centre’s premises without liability.
  9. The Management of the Sale Turf Club does not accept any responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left at the Laurels Function Room prior to or after the function.  Organisers should arrange their own insurance and or security.
  10. In case of cancellation, the Sale Turf Club will refund 100% of the deposit if cancelled 30 days prior to event.  Bookings cancelled within 14 to 30 days of event will receive 50% of deposit refunded.  Function cancelled with 14 days of event shall forfeit entirity of deposit.
  11. All prices are subject to change without notice.
  12. All prices quoted include GST.
